The similarities between how the Obama and Bush administrations govern are as stark as their policies are different. In both cases, every issue is a crisis that requires immediate action---NO TIME TO THINK---and these actions are all based on best case scenario. I spoke with a bunch of my neighbors while I was leaning on my rake Saturday and no one thinks there will be robust growth by 2010. How can Obama?
I'm glad I just have to draw cartoons about this stuff rather than actually having to solve these problems.
This cartoon was published on Tuesday, well before Bobby Jindal laid the mother of all eggs, so I am feeling particularly prescient.
Last week's Cartoon Clicks was a little shout out to Wolverine and used the Oscars as a vehicle to assault the tools.
I love the show "LOST." I loathe the congressman, John Murtha. For those who enjoy trivia, Murtha's district includes Lemont -Furnace, Pennsylvania, where my father was born.
Like the rest of the world, I'm spending time I could be rebuilding the 529s on Facebook. Like half the world, I found those "twenty-five random things" irritating. I married that to my dislike for the Stimulus. Above is the bastard child of that union.
Constant urgency, and as many ethical exceptions as pledges. Sounds sadly familiar.
